Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial facilities using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep to ensure optimal operation of the premises
- Utilize custodial experience to clean floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas efficiently and effectively
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
- Operate heavy lifting equipment or assist with moving supplies and furniture as needed
- Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and properly handling cleaning chemicals and tools
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards
- G license required with clean abstract

Pay: $17.20-$20.50 per hour
