Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a strong work ethic, and experience in food handling within a restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food assembly and plating for service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Properly handle and store food items following safety guidelines
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently to ensure availability for ongoing food preparation
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Follow all food safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe dining environment for guests
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions from kitchen supervisors
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
