Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaping Laborer to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, construction, and horticulture, requiring physical stamina and a passion for outdoor work. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills in landscape and garden care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Perform excavation work for planting beds or installing features
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Support construction projects related to landscape design or improvements
- Conduct general gardening duties including soil preparation, fertilizing, and pest control
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems or construction equipment is a plus
- Experience working with excavation machinery such as excavators is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
