We are seeking motivated and talented recent graduates to join our technology team as QA Analysts. You will work on modern applications, automation frameworks, and cloud-based systems while gaining hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000-$80,000. This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using industry best practices
- Create and execute automated and manual test cases for application quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support application maintenance (AMS) and enhancements where required
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Familiarity with Postman (API testing), Postgres/MySQL databases, GitHub version control, iOS/Android platforms, Miro/Lucidchart for process mapping, and UI/UX principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong programming knowledge in: Java / Python and SQL (Postgres, MySQL, Sybase)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or similar)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman)
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Understanding of version control tools like GitHub
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
