Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing individual for the position of a Safety and Compliance Coordinator out of our terminal in Brampton!
This opportunity would be an exceptional entry level position for a person interested in becoming involved in the supply chain, logistical and transportation fields. The main purpose of this position would be to take a lead role in coordinating maintenance on multiple pieces of equipment.
Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift 8:30am to 5:00pm
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with Hours of Service, ELD's.
- Responsible for the administration/investigation of all accidents;
- Responsible for driver data management and data entry into our Driver Database - CollectiveData;
- Responsible for licensing of equipment (tractors & trailers);
- Monitor and maintain CVOR/NIR;
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of all driver files;
- Maintain monthly and weekly reports surrounding compliance and data management;
- Assist in driver recruitment and orientation process for owner-operators
- Assist in new driver orientation for all new hires;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous safety and compliance experience within the Trucking industry is an asset.
- GeoTab System experience considered an asset.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must maintain high levels of organization and communication.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
