Job Summary
We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate X-ray Technologists to join our private outpatient radiology clinic in Kamloops, British Columbia. Responsibilities
- Conduct general X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate general X-ray equipment independently to capture images of various body parts.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making post-processing adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings when required.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized according to safety standards.
- Practice safe radiation protection techniques.
- Stay current with advancements in X-ray technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Diploma from a recognized Medical Radiography program.
- Current certification from a recognized professional organization (CAMRT or CLXT).
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Consistently acquires exceptional quality diagnostic images.
- Committed to providing professional and compassionate patient care.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear instructions.
- Strong team player, comfortable interacting with team members.
