Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring smooth service operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cashiering responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations
- Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and efficiently
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately and responsibly
- Effective communication skills and a personable attitude
- Experience in serving, hospitality, or food service roles is highly desirable
