Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Responsibilities
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as per company policies
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
- Ensure proper food handling, serving, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service and clean up after shifts
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, demonstrating hospitality skills
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is a plus
