The Refurb Computer Technician analyzes and troubleshoots problems, refurbishes and conducts diagnostic repair processes on Desktops/Laptops and their parts in order to prepare them for resale. In addition, this position may support other departments/zones as needed to achieve the overall business objectives of the Refurbishment Operations Center. This position works under general supervision, interacting with a lead and supervisor several times a day to receive guidance and feedback. Most non-routine activities will require a supervisor’s advance approval.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, Unbox and store incoming inventory
- Diagnosing and repair desktops, laptops and other IT equipment.
- De-manufacture equipment
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment
- Prepare products for end user use.
- Prepare products for e-commerce listing
- Full fill sales orders to satisfy customers’ needs. - Accurately record all production/accuracy documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to focus on results, quality and satisfaction
- Must be willing to learn and able to multitasking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand up long hours during the shift.
