Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cashiering responsibilities with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen prep zones
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
