Overlanders Manufacturing is looking to hire a full-time Production Line Worker to join our team.
Job Description:
This position combines general labour and welding duties, with employees working in a variety of roles throughout the production line. The work is hands-on and repetitive in nature, requiring attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to meeting production goals. Responsibilities may include welding, riveting, tapping, pemming, deburring, assembly, and operating basic hand tools. Team members may rotate between different tasks and workstations as production needs require.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is considered an asset but is not required. Successful candidates will have strong manual dexterity, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow assembly instructions and diagrams accurately.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Identify and report any issues or defects in materials or equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Meet production quotas and deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. repetitively.
- You must be reliable, pleasant and can be trained.
- Ability to follow English written and spoken directions.
- Basic welding experience is an asset.
Employment Details:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday. 6:00am - 2:30pm (40 hours per week)
