Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients through telemarketing, business development, and direct outreach to generate leads and appointments
- Present and explain solar energy products and services, emphasizing their benefits and technical features
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend tailored solar solutions that meet customer requirements
- Negotiate contracts and close sales efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and market penetration
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing questions and concerns professionally
- Support inside sales efforts by qualifying prospects and nurturing ongoing client relationships
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Proven experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or technical sales environments
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and telemarketing techniques
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing customer interactions
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish language skills are a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Business development expertise with a focus on expanding market reach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of renewable energy solutions, especially solar technology, is preferred but not required
