We are seeking a Construction Foreman to oversee daily site operations.
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate with clients, management and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance.
- Performing labouring tasks as required within the scope of the job
Qualifications/Expectations
- Proven supervising experience in construction or excavation projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be available to work anywhere from 40-60 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be responsible, dependable, punctual & have a positive attitude
- Class 5 drivers licence is mandatory
- Experience and knowledge of implementing a strong safety culture
- Prior experience in a Lead Hand,Foreman or supervisory role is mandatory
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
