Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Steel Pipe Yard Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position working outdoors in a busy steel pipe yard, with opportunities to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, move, and organize steel pipe and related materials
- Assist with preparing pipe for shipping and deliveries
- Operate basic yard equipment and hand tools
- Assist yard staff and machine operators as required
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company safety procedures and safe lifting practices
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy materials
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Good awareness of workplace safety
- Previous experience in a steel yard, construction, industrial, or warehouse environment is an asset
- Forklift / rigging experience is an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate
