As a Coordinator, Railcar Maintenance you’ll:
- Coordinate railcar maintenance activities to support fleet reliability and availability.
- Monitor and track bad-order railcars, maintenance requirements, repair status, and fleet activity using operational systems and reporting tools.
- Coordinate maintenance priorities and work progress with railways, maintenance facilities, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support railcar movement and billing activities related to maintenance, repair, and refurbishment programs.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support planning, compliance, and decision-making.
- Monitor work completion, follow up on outstanding activities, and support timely issue resolution.
- Escalate issues that may impact fleet availability, maintenance performance, or operational objectives.
You’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering, with three to five years of related experience.
- Experience working in a safety-sensitive, industrial, or transportation environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel and work non-traditional business hours as required.

- Problem Solving: Identifies issues impacting maintenance execution and fleet availability and exercises sound judgment regarding when issues should be escalated.
- Flexibility & Responsiveness: Ability to respond effectively to changing operational priorities.
- Team Partnership: Works collaboratively and builds strong working relationships with internal and external partners to support shared operational objectives.
- Technology Proficiency: Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing operational, maintenance, reporting, and workflow systems.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated commitment to accuracy by maintaining maintenance records, tracking fleet activities, monitoring work progress, and ensuring operational information is complete and reliable.
