Our head office is searching for a CAD Design and Drafting Technician.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Design and drafting work including various building layouts and construction drawings specific to commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Attend on-site visits.
- Participate in meetings with the clients, project managers, and other professionals in the preliminary stages of the design process.
- Evaluate information to ensure compliance with various codes and other regulations.
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- Excellent AutoCAD proficiency is required, experience with Revit is beneficial.
- Thorough knowledge of Ontario Building Code as it relates to commercial and industrial construction.
- A successful candidate must be a self-driven and independent individual, capable of working from the Perth office, remotely, as well as traveling as required for site visits.
