Sales Representative
Intertek is searching for an Sales Representative to join our Business Assurance team.
The Sales Representative is a hands-on, customer-facing hunter role responsible for driving new business growth within the Training Services portfolio. This position plays a critical role in identifying, developing, and closing new training opportunities while appropriately redirecting system certification leads to the designated internal owners by territory and standard.
The Sales representative is accountable for achieving revenue targets, expanding market presence, and contributing to the execution of regional sales growth strategies.
What you’ll do:

Proactively drive revenue by identifying, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities, while building strong, long-term client relationships.

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned with annual and quarterly revenue targets.

Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, including accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Manage the full sales cycle for new accounts, from prospecting and qualification through contract negotiation and execution.

Prepare and deliver accurate client quotations, proposals, service agreements, and responses to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and tenders within defined timelines.

Collaborate closely with technical, operations, and sales leadership teams to ensure scope, timelines, pricing, and customer expectations are clearly defined and met.

Achieve sales objectives, maintain updated sales plans, and submit timely monthly sales and activity reports.

Ensure all customer, opportunity, and activity data is accurately maintained in the company CRM system in compliance with required metrics (including 5x5 metrics).

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant industry stakeholders to strengthen brand awareness and accelerate regional growth.

Perform additional sales and business development activities as required to support company objectives.

Skills/Knowledge Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public presentation skills.
Microsoft knowledge required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint usage is a must)
Working knowledge and use of all internal processes/software – as pertain to a sales professional - CRM, and other web-based tools, etc. (To be formalized during competency assessment)
Ability to manage self and territory independently, while achieving territory revenue/business goals. (Cost control &Time Management)
Sector specific knowledge- must meet annual competency criteria and successfully complete requalification exams.
Salary & Benefits Information
The salary for this position is $100,000 per year. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
