About Lawn 'N' Order We're a Winnipeg design-build landscaping firm. We take outdoor spaces from concept to finished build: high-end patios, retaining walls, drainage, and full backyard transformations. The kind of work that makes the neighbours look twice.
The Role This is the seat that owns the numbers behind every project. You walk the site, measure it, understand what the build actually takes, and price it so the job lands profitable and the client knows exactly what they're paying for. A good estimate is the difference between a job that runs clean and one that bleeds. That's the job.
This is a permanent year-round position, not a seasonal field role. You'll work closely with our designers, our project manager, and Management
What You'll Do
- Run site visits to measure and assess scope
- Build accurate estimates in LMN
- Turn designer concepts and client wishlists into priced, buildable scopes
- Coordinate the handoff to the project manager so the build matches the quote
- Stay in touch with clients through the quote-to-contract stage
What You Bring You either have estimating experience in landscaping, construction, or a related trade, or you've spent real time in the field and you've got the head for numbers to move into the office. Either way, you're comfortable with measurements and math, you can read a site, and you talk to clients in a way that builds trust. You sweat the details, because in this role the margin lives or dies on the estimate. Ideally the candidate has used LMN before but not required training can be provided.
A valid Class 5 licence is required.
