About the Role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented temporary Admin Assistant to support our leadership team and daily office operations. This role works closely with staff, families, Community Living BC (CLBC), Home Share providers, and community partners to ensure the efficient delivery of administrative services.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team.
- Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries.
- Coordinate office operations and maintain employee records.
- Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Process office expenses and maintain office supplies.
- Support policy development and special projects.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office coordination role.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with ShareVision or similar databases is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence.
