Hybrid Position | Ontario | Remote + In Person in Mississauga
MindShift Integrative Therapy Centre is growing, and we are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative clinician who cares deeply about their work and wants to grow alongside a strong clinical team.
We are an integrative psychotherapy practice supporting young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, ADHD, identity concerns, and nervous system dysregulation.
Our approach combines evidence based therapy with deeper, root cause focused work. We value both top down and bottom up approaches and believe meaningful therapy often includes the mind, body, nervous system, relationships, culture, identity, and lived experience of the person in front of us.

Clinical Fit
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have experience providing Couples Therapy and additional training in Gottman Method, EFT, or another recognized couples therapy approach.
- Have experience supporting men with concerns such as relationships, stress, burnout, anger, shame, identity, emotional expression, and life transitions.
- Experience working with adults with ADHD is considered a strong asset.
- Are comfortable supporting concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, emotional regulation, addiction, and relationship challenges.
- Use both top down and bottom up approaches in your clinical work.
- Have experience with nervous system regulation and emotional regulation.
- Have training in body based approaches such as Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, IFS, Brainspotting, Polyvagal informed approaches, or similar modalities.
- Have additional certifications, advanced training, or a commitment to continued professional development.
- Are warm, grounded, professional, and emotionally attuned.
- Value collaboration, consultation, and ongoing growth.
- Maintain strong clinical boundaries and ethical standards.
- Are open to feedback, consultation, and continued growth

Position Details
- Independent contractor structure
- Hybrid role with virtual sessions in your home office and in person sessions in a Mississauga office
- Must be comfortable providing virtual care independently from home
- Flexible scheduling
- Referrals provided
- A full caseload consists of approximately 15 direct client hours per week
- Minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week
- At least one evening or weekend shift required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, Registered Social Worker, or equivalent regulated mental health professional in good standing in Ontario
- Holds valid professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader clinical team
- Maintains ethical and professional standards in alignment with regulatory requirements
