We are currently hiring an experienced Appliance & Furniture Delivery Driver to operate a 3-ton truck with a 20-foot box for residential deliveries in the Ottawa area.
Pay: $200 per day
Location: Ottawa, ON (In Person)
Job Type: Full-Time
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's License
- Clean Criminal Background Check
- Valid Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 1 year of appliance delivery driving experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Smartphone with a data plan
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload appliances and furniture
- Deliver products to customers' homes safely and efficiently
- Ensure no damage to products or customer property during deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
- Follow all company, provincial, and federal safety regulations
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and team members
Job Duties
- Deliver appliances and furniture
- Remove and reinstall doors when necessary
- Perform door swing adjustments
- Install washers and dryers
- Install stacking kits and pedestals
All tools are provided.
