Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a genuine love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and quality standards, adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping ingredients, preparing sauces, and assembling pizza toppings.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pizza stretching and making is preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and equipment usage.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals is essential.
