This is not a typical retail sales position.
We're looking for individuals who genuinely enjoy fitness, supplements, nutrition, and helping customers achieve their goals through knowledgeable product recommendations and exceptional customer service.
Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will play an important role in creating an outstanding customer experience while helping customers find the right supplements and wellness products based on their individual goals.
Success in this role comes from building strong product knowledge, creating trust with customers, and confidently recommending products that support their health and fitness journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner
- Learn customers' health, fitness, and wellness goals to recommend appropriate products
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of sports nutrition, vitamins, supplements, and wellness products
- Deliver exceptional customer service that creates repeat customers and long-term relationships
- Process customer transactions accurately using our POS system
- Receive, stock, rotate, and merchandise inventory
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing shelves and displays
- Assist with inventory management and stock accuracy
- Support promotional campaigns and new product launches
- Continuously expand your supplement and product knowledge through ongoing training and independent learning
- Stay informed on new products, ingredients, and industry trends
- Work collaboratively with store leadership while contributing to a positive team environment
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are genuinely passionate about health, fitness, sports nutrition, and supplements. The ideal candidate enjoys learning about products, helping others achieve their goals, and confidently recommending solutions based on customer needs.
Strong candidates may include individuals with experience or personal interest in:
- Supplements and sports nutrition
- Supplement retail or health food stores
- Fitness and strength training
- Weightlifting or bodybuilding
- Personal training or fitness coaching
- Nutrition or wellness
- Kinesiology or health sciences
- Competitive sports or athletic performance
- Individuals who actively use and understand supplements and enjoy staying current with new products and industry trends

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 1 year of retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred
- Experience in supplement retail, health food stores, nutrition, fitness, or wellness
- Personal knowledge and experience using sports nutrition and supplements
- Understanding of common supplement categories including protein, creatine, pre-workout, amino acids, vitamins, recovery products, and general wellness supplements
- Fitness, nutrition, kinesiology, or wellness-related education or certifications are considered an asset
