Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality foods according to recipes and production schedules while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare soups, sauces, casseroles, entrees, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes.
· Follow daily production schedules to ensure products are prepared on time and in sufficient quantities.
· Assist with portioning, packaging, labeling, and stocking prepared foods.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift.
· Monitor product quality and report any concerns to management.
· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
· Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries as required.
· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications
· Previous cooking or food production experience preferred.
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
