Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Excavator / Backhoe Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes to perform a variety of earthmoving tasks essential for construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, graders, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
- Perform excavation, trenching and material handling tasks according to project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with horizontal drilling and other specialized construction activities as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate work schedules and site activities.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and work performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating excavators, backhoes, skidsteers and other heavy construction equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license for transporting equipment or materials and own vehicle required.
- Familiarity with Case & Kubota equipment is highly advantageous.
- Construction experience demonstrating proficiency in earthmoving and site preparation tasks.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
