Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer specializing in showers, railings, doors, and windows. This position involves installing, repairing, and restoring glass components in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Glass Installation Minimum Of 2 Years, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision and craftsmanship, contributing to high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, replace, and repair shower enclosures, railings, doors, and windows made of glass with accuracy and attention to detail
- Use hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and caulking guns to ensure secure fittings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute installations correctly
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure watertight and airtight finishes
- Perform restoration work on existing installations as needed
- Assist with related tasks including construction painting, plumbing connections, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying when required
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle glass materials to prevent damage or injury
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on glass installation preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematics comprehension
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, restoration processes, plumbing basics, welding skills, flooring installation, and tile work is advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements
- Prior experience working with shower enclosures, railing systems, doors, or windows is highly desirable
