Reporting to the Warehouse Manager
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a warehouse or production environment
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift
- Utilize a warehouse management system with wireless scanning equipment to track inventory and locate items
- Perform order picking, wrapping, staging and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues
-Work as a team player
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing inventory and maintaining cleanliness
-Follow all health and safety procedures in place by the company
-Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and experience to operate and maintain the forklift
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
- Proficiency in order picking processes and using an order picker
-Work well independently in a fast paced environment
- Basic math skills to verify quantities and perform inventory counts
Note: A valid forklift operator certification may be required for this position.
Shifts are Sunday - Thursday 9 am - 6 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.25 per hour
