We are currently seeking a primary Chef to join our team who is positive and proactive. The individual in this role must have prior experience in a professional kitchen, as well as management experience, advanced knowledge of the culinary arts, be willing to work on Sundays, and have the ability to work a flexible schedule. The ideal person will be good at working with others, thoroughly enjoy the food industry and have a passion for creating tasty dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a restaurant, hotel, or other food service establishment.
- Manage a group of kitchen staff.
- Manage a group of wait staff.
- Create and implement a marketing plan for your restaurant.
- Research and understand new culinary techniques and food trends.
- Train and discipline kitchen staff.
- Train and supervise wait staff.
- Follow health laws regarding food preparation and storage.
- Make sure that the restaurant follows health laws regarding food preparation and storage.
