JIC School is seeking a passionate, caring, and qualified Kindergarten Arabic and Quran Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year (September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027).

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic and Quran to Kindergarten students in an engaging, age-appropriate, and nurturing manner.
- Teach the Quran with proper Tajweed while fostering a love for Islamic learning.
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that support the developmental and learning needs of young children.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student learning, progress, and classroom activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and the school community.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong knowledge of Islam, Arabic, and the Quran with proper Tajweed.
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with Kindergarten or early primary students.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to create engaging, interactive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
- Canadian teaching experience (preferred).
- A valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (required).
