Overview
We are seeking a highly responsible and hands-on Technical Workshop & Warehouse Lead for our Langley location. This is a unique, hybrid role for an automotive/mechanical enthusiast or technician who wants to combine workshop precision with warehouse management. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, space layout, and staff tasks, while leading product installations, mechanical assembly, and identifying design optimization for future product development.
Duties
- Workshop & Installation Lead: Perform and oversee precise product installation (automotive/truck accessories and mechanical components).
- R&D Feedback: Inspect incoming products, test prototype components, identify design vulnerabilities, and provide structured optimization feedback.
- Warehouse & Staff Management: Fully responsible for the warehouse spatial layout, organizing item placement, and coordinating daily tasks/schedules for team members.
- Logistics Ownership: Manage inventory accuracy, order picking, and incoming/outgoing shipping logistics.
- Technical Tasks: Execute light fabrication, welding modifications, and automotive 12V electrical wiring/lighting installations during testing or custom fittings.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain workshop safety protocols, ensure clean work areas, and coordinate forklift operations.
Experience
- Technical Skills: 2+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly or product installation experience.
- Preferred Technical Pluses: Proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG) and basic understanding of 12V automotive electrical systems/wiring connectors.
- Management Experience: 1+ years of experience in supervising staff, assigning tasks, or optimizing warehouse space layouts.
- Physical & Logistical Capabilities: Competency in forklift operation and inventory tracking. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Language: Fluent in English
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
