Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist/Lead
Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)
About the Opportunity
MT Talent Solutions is proud to partner with our client in the pharmaceutical space, for the recruitment of a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter with a passion for identifying and attracting top talent within the pharmaceutical or specialty pharmaceutical industry. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage senior-level recruitment mandates while partnering closely with business leaders to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work environment with only one day per week in the Oakville office for collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for senior-level positions from intake through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates through headhunting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate technical qualifications and organizational fit.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruitment activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance.
- Provide market intelligence, hiring updates, and recruitment reporting to leadership.
- Represent the organization at recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to recruitment processes, candidate experience, and employer branding.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition or recruitment experience within the health, pharmaceutical or specialty pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success recruiting senior-level positions.
- Strong expertise in proactive sourcing, direct recruitment, headhunting, and market mapping.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern recruitment technologies.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education is required.
