Work Hours: 10:00-18:30. These hours may be adjusted from time to time based on operational requirements.
Compensation Range: $20-$22 CAD hourly and depend on the candidate’s experience and performance during the interview.

About the Role
The Parts Advisor is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing automotive parts and tires while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting the daily operations of the service department. This role ensures parts are readily available, inventory is well organized, and warehouse areas remain clean, safe, and efficient. The Parts Advisor works closely with technicians, service advisors, and suppliers to provide timely and accurate parts support.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and tire shipments for accuracy and condition.

Store received inventory promptly and accurately in designated locations.

Monitor inventory levels and identify stock requiring replenishment.

Pick and prepare parts for technicians and respond to daytime parts requests from Shops.

Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Label, organize, and rotate inventory to ensure efficient stock management.

Maintain clean, organized, and debris-free inventory aisles, storage areas, and tire storage areas.

Report damaged, missing, or incorrect parts and inventory discrepancies to management.

Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required.

Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and warehouse best practices.

Support the daily operations of the Parts Department and perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.

Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of automotive parts and tires, with loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or more, using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment when required.

Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other typical warehouse and automotive shop conditions.

Operation of material handling equipment, in accordance with company safety procedures.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Regular interaction with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and other staff to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:

Basic automotive knowledge, including the ability to identify and distinguish between various vehicle systems (e.g., brakes, lubricants, wheels, and tires).

Previous experience in an automotive parts, warehouse, or inventory environment is considered an asset.

Familiarity with inventory management systems is an asset.
