Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Insurance Sales Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new insurance sales, providing exceptional customer service, and building lasting client relationships. Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct detailed analysis of clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients to secure optimal agreements
- Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, policy processing, and follow-up
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential clients through various channels, including telemarketing and community outreach
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or policy adjustments
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and other privacy standards
- Collaborate with benefits administration teams to ensure clients understand their coverage options
- Utilize strong communication skills to educate clients about insurance products in a clear and professional manner
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales within the insurance industries
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly
- Analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable policies
- Experience in sales administration and marketing strategies is preferred
- Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of RIBO regulations and confidentiality standards is a must
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage time effectively
- A valid RIBO license in insurance
