Summer Showroom & Sales Associate – SALO Sauna
Location: Harbour Walk Shops, Parry Sound, ON

Our Harbour Walk showroom is where people can experience that philosophy firsthand, learn about sauna culture, and explore our handcrafted sauna offerings.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to help run our Harbour Walk showroom during July and August.
This position is perfect for a student on summer break, a recent graduate, or someone spending the summer in the Parry Sound area who enjoys meeting people and has an interest in wellness, sauna culture, and sales.
If you’ve experienced the benefits of sauna yourself and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
● Welcome visitors to the SALO showroom
● Share the story and philosophy behind SALO Sauna
● Educate customers about sauna culture, wellness, and our products
● Conduct showroom tours and product demonstrations
● Answer customer questions and collect customer inquiries
● Assist with sales and lead generation
● Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom
● Create occasional social media content and behind-the-scenes stories
● Represent the SALO brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
We’re Looking For Someone Who
● Has experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service
● Is confident speaking with customers and starting conversations
● Has personally used saunas and understands their benefits
● Is interested in wellness, outdoor living, or Finnish/Scandinavian culture
● Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently
● Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills
Bonus Qualifications
● Experience creating Instagram or TikTok content
● Knowledge of sauna culture and wellness practices
● Photography or videography skills
● Experience working in tourism, events, or hospitality
