The Role:
We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented superstar Pharmacy Assistant I to join the amazing Pocketpills team.
Job Duties:
- Prepare prescriptions using our pharmacy software.
- Fill, package, label, and ship prescriptions.
- Count and measure medications accurately.
- Operate the Automated Tablet Packaging (ATP) machine.
- Receive, organize, monitor, and maintain pharmacy inventory.
- Process medication returns and expired products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow pharmacy procedures, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Support the pharmacy team with other duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous pharmacy or prescription dispensing experience.
- Good computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The annual compensation for this Pharmacy Assistant I position is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.
Compensation & Status
Status: Full time - 40 hours per week
Location: Mississauga, ON
Schedule & Availability: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. Candidates should be comfortable with some scheduling flexibility within that window, or working four 10-hour shifts per week, based on operational needs. Saturdays are currently not required, however may be required in the future.
Compensation: $20.00-$22.00 an hour
