Job Summary
iCue Billiard & Lounge is seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and responsible Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our pool hall. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently opening and managing the store, delivering exceptional customer service, supervising daily activities, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys working with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently open, operate, and close the store following established procedures.
- Oversee the daily operations of the pool hall to ensure efficient and smooth service.
- Greet and welcome guests while providing friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, coffee, tea, and soft drinks, in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
- Prepare simple snacks and kitchen food items while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process customer payments accurately, and balance cash receipts.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with reservations and general information.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock beverages, food, and operating supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including customer areas, bar, kitchen, washrooms, and equipment.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support a positive team environment and help ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, retail, or a supervisory role is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems.
- Responsible, dependable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Smart Serve Certification (or the ability to obtain one)

Working Conditions
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
