Barista / Café All-Rounder
Goldie’s Donuts & Bakery is looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team.
Please note: this is not a barista-only position. Our team works together across all areas of café operations. In addition to making drinks, you will be expected to help with customer service, donut displays, cleaning, dishes, restocking, and general café duties throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages
- Taking customer orders and operating the POS system
- Providing fast and friendly customer service
- Keeping the donut display fully stocked, clean, and presentable
- Packing donuts and preparing customer orders
- Restocking milk, cups, packaging, syrups, and other supplies
- Washing dishes and keeping the dish area clean
- Cleaning counters, tables, equipment, floors, and work areas
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Organizing deliveries and supplies when required
- Supporting other team members during busy periods
- Handling general café duties as needed throughout the shift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Able to multitask and stay organized
- Comfortable with cleaning, dishes, restocking, and other physical café duties
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Important
We are looking for someone who understands that working in a café involves much more than making coffee.
There will be busy periods, constant cleaning and restocking, dishes, customer service, and other operational tasks throughout the day. We value team members who notice what needs to be done and take initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
