Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packaging Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring products are safely and efficiently prepared for shipment. As a Packaging Worker, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and inspecting products while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Duties
- Carefully assemble products using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit, following specified packaging guidelines
- Conduct visual inspections of products for defects or inconsistencies before packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management by labeling, sorting, and documenting packaged goods
- Use assembly techniques to prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is a plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools are advantageous
- Strong understanding of packaging processes and quality control procedures
- Previous assembly or production line experience is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable using warehouse equipment such as hand tools, pallet jacks, and forklifts
