On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate Systems Analyst for a 1-year role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Edmonton office.
Intermediate Systems Analyst - Job Description:
The Intermediate Systems Analyst will collaborate with the client to enhance and implement systems supporting organizational projects and operations. This role involves developing system requirements, analyzing functional needs, and collaborating with developers to create and maintain efficient systems.
Intermediate Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Develop requirements, feasibility, cost, design, and specification documents for new or production systems
- Analyze functional requirements to recommend solutions
- Define and document interfaces between systems
- Define input/output sources and technical design plans
- Document system components and operational environments
- Define data structures, sub-systems, modules, and testing strategies
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with developers to model and produce functional prototypes
- Implement systems to support projects and departments
- Create, update, and maintain procedures and standards
- Provide expert consultation in system analysis, performance, and security
Intermediate Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with public sector systems
- Familiarity with production monitoring procedures
- Knowledge of scalability and security best practices
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical standards
- Proficiency in performance analysis
Intermediate Systems Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract position.
