Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the dentist during various procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Support the dental receptionist with front desk duties when needed, including greeting patients and answering inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a busy clinical setting
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required or equivalent experience
- A professional attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
