Alliance Employment Group is looking to hire Cookfor our airport client in Goffs, NS. It will be a 2 week job with possibility of extension.
Shift Timings - 6:00AM-3:00PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all meals meet airline requirements for taste, appearance, and dietary specifications.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to HACCP, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Label, date, and store food items properly to ensure freshness and compliance with company standards.
- Assist with inventory rotation, receiving products, and monitoring ingredient quality.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to meet strict production deadlines aligned with daily flight schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and workplace procedures to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen environment.
Job Requirements
- Previous cooking or culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen is an asset.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
