As the Veterinary Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting veterinarians by holding, jogging, restraining and preparing horses for evaluation and/or treatment.
- Setting up, preparing and maintaining diagnostic equipment.
- Assisting in the stocking and upkeep of the clinic facilities as well as the veterinary vehicles.
- Occasionally assisting with administrative duties such as answering telephones, scheduling appointments, greeting in-clinic clients and processing invoices.

- Is a master problem solver who can anticipate and meet the needs of the team while also working autonomously.
- Understands and upholds client and patient confidentiality.
- Has significant recent hands-on horse experience and a high comfort level with handling all types of equines
- Is capable of lifting and carrying equipment up to 50lbs
- Is able to jog with a horse in hand up to 15mins multiple times per day
You must have hands-on horse experience to be considered for this role.
