JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk Preferred
- Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
- Strong working knowledge of Guest Service practices and principles
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft.
- Knowledge of Jonas Chorum PMS is considered an asset and will be given priority.
DUTIES:
· Create a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for hotel guests
· Check guests in and out efficiently
· Handle reservations and issue room keys
· Assist guests with luggage
· Answer guest inquiries and arrange transportation
· Manage phone, email, and in-person communications
· Process payments and reconcile cash and shift transactions
· Prepare daily and operational reports
· Handle wake-up call requests
· Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
· Coordinate with other departments as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous front desk or night audit experience
· Knowledge of field and revenue management
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Strong time management abilities
· Adaptability and ability to multitask under pressure
· Commitment to exceeding guest expectations
