Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong caregiving skills, and be committed to supporting their developmental needs. This role involves creating positive experiences that promote learning, socialization, and emotional well-being in a caring setting.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children during activities, playtime, and mealtime to ensure safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning
- Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, hygiene, and nap times
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage confidence and social skills
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to safe play and learning
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures in the childcare setting
Requirements
- Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education is preferred
- Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs, is highly desirable
- Strong teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices and child development principles
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and exploration
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if required
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
