Certified Dental Assistant (CDA II)
Grand Dental is hiring a Saturday CDA to support our hygienist in a true two-column assisted hygiene model.
This is not a float role. You’ll help keep two hygiene rooms moving, stay one patient ahead, and support a smooth day with 12 to 13 hygiene patients.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, fast, calm under pressure, and strong with patient flow.
Schedule
Every Saturday
7:45 am to 4:15 pm
Every Thursday
9:45 am - 6:15 pm
What you’ll do
- Support one hygienist in a two-column setup
- Seat and prepare patients
- Update medical histories
- Take digital x-rays and CBCT
- Set up and turn over rooms
- Help with charting and perio charting
- Coordinate doctor exams
- Keep sterilization moving
- Restock and help close the hygiene area
What we’re looking for
- CDA in good standing in BC
- Strong with x-rays, charting, and clinical flow
- Excellent time management
- Strong infection control and room turnover
- Reliable, punctual, and team-first
- Warm with patients and calm on busy days
Best fit for this role
- Assisted hygiene experience is a big asset
- Experience supporting a hygienist across two rooms is a big asset
- You like being busy and staying one step ahead
- You help keep the day moving without making patients feel rushed
