Job Title: Shop Labourer

Company Overview:
We are a well-established machine, fabrication & rebuild shop. With a reputation for quality and efficiency, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver/Labourer. This dual role involves delivering materials and products to clients, as well as assisting with general labour tasks in our shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in general labour tasks within the shop enviroment, including cleaning machines, organizing tooling and workspaces, and moving materials or parts.
- Help machine operators and technicians with basic tasks as required.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist in various shop related duties ie. cutting, grinding, painting etc.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking and organizing materials.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a machine shop or industrial setting is an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced machine shop with exposure to noise and heavy equipment.
- Physical work, requiring frequent lifting, bending, and moving of materials.
