Rapid Design Group Inc., is currently seeking energetic individuals to assist in our shop operations.
Job Duties:
General Shop Support.
- Prep components for machining
- Phosphating machined components
- Operate metal band saw
- Stamp and engrave various components
- Use of various metal working tools (Grinders, torches, drills)
- Forklift experience an asset: loading & unloading shipments, metal scrap bins, etc.
- Operate Overhead Cranes to move heavy parts safely and securely
Requirements:
- Mechanical Aptitude and Interest
- Must be able to lift 50lb parts
- Manual dexterity required to use power and hand tools
- Ability to follow direction and communicate understanding of procedures as taught
- Continually seek improvement in skills, productivity and product knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Experience operating forklift and bobcat an asset; or the ability and willingness to learn
