Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Ideal candidates will have experience in food and beverage service, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management
- Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
- Assist in food service duties when necessary, supporting overall team operations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Good understanding of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry standards and hospitality best practices
- Must be personable, professional, and able to work well within a team environment
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
