Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of concrete work, and proficiency with construction management tools.
This position is intended for an individual with extensive hands-on experience in concrete construction, repairs, forming, finishing, site preparation, and crew leadership.
The successful candidate must be capable of managing projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excavation and site preparation
- Gravel placement and compaction
- Concrete forming
- Rebar and dowel installation
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Concrete repairs and restoration
- Operation of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to read grades, elevations, and layout requirements
- Safe operation of trucks, trailers, and jobsite equipment
- Crew leadership and jobsite management
- Customer communication and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely back and maneuver trucks and trailers
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead others
- Physically capable of demanding construction work

Practical Skills Assessment Required: $35-$45 per hour based on experience and demonstrated ability.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to demonstrate their abilities during the interview process. Testing may include:
- Trailer backing and maneuvering
- Operation of construction tools and equipment
- Concrete forming and layout
- Finishing techniques
- Repair procedures
- General construction knowledge
- Problem-solving and jobsite decision making
