Objective:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring high-quality meals are served to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is stored properly and meets food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills:
- 2+ Year cooking experience
- Food handling
- Can work in a fast past environment
- Understands food safety
